Rajapaksa arrived in Thailand from Singapore
Former Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has now reached Thailand after spending 28 days in Singapore. In Singapore, he wanted permanent residential permission, but the government there did not give him this approval. It is also being said about Thailand that Rajapaksa will only be able to stay there for a few days, because he has a visiting visa there too. According to Sri Lankan media, it is not yet clear where Rajapaksa will go after this, as no country has issued him a residential or permanent visa so far. Rajapaksa's party has said that the former president will return to the country soon. However, no date has been given for this. Gotabaya Rajapaksa was seen with wife at the Singapore airport on Thursday. Left on 13 July Rajapaksa left Sri Lanka with his family on 13 July after the discontent against him in the country. After that he reached Singapore. It was from here that he mailed his resignation from the post. Singapore twice allowed him to stay for 28 days.
